With a contract value of £2.5m, BST Projects delivered a comprehensive structural and interior overhaul, including the excavation of a new subterranean basement, a complex two-storey rear extension, and a flawless, turnkey luxury restoration of the historic fabric.
Structural Innovation & Subterranean Engineering
Navigating the strict logistical and structural constraints of a premium Knightsbridge square, our engineering teams successfully executed a multi-level basement excavation to unlock substantial hidden square footage. To seamless integrate the old with the new, we constructed a two-storey rear extension that floods the lower levels with light, culminating in architectural elements like the bespoke skylight void engineered directly above the contemporary kitchen zone.
The Interior Renovation & Execution
Every square inch of the property was brought to an exacting luxury standard, balancing contemporary design with grand period features.
Principal Reception Rooms: The main drawing room and dining spaces exhibit master-level joinery and finishing. Our craftsmen installed bespoke floor-to-ceiling wall panelling, integrated recessed lighting details, and laid deep-toned chevron parquet flooring, creating a seamless architectural transition between spaces.
The Grand Staircase: Centering the home is a meticulously restored multi-storey staircase corridor. We integrated custom low-level architectural step-lighting into the intricate wall panelling to subtly illuminate the premium carpet runner and original balustrades.
Suites & Private Spaces: The master bedroom suite features a bespoke stone-surround fireplace, deep-pile luxury carpeting, and hidden MEP integration. In the master bathroom, our stone specialists achieved absolute precision with book-matched marble floor slabs, a floating marble vanity unit, and a flawless chevron marble tiled walk-in wet room.
